December 2007

Hello everyone! (I know... another bath picture! So... get over it!) This past December has been so much fun! I thought time was supposed to fly when you're having fun!?! Maybe December has felt like forever because I am just now getting around to writing my blog page. You'll forgive me!

Anyway, I have done so much that I don't even know where to start. Let's see...

December 8th was Mommy's side of the family's Christmas Party. I had a lot of fun! Surprisingly, no one needed stitches this year. (The last time we had Christmas at our house my cousin, Drew fell and busted his head open! Mommy said that was an eventful day!)

Here is a family picture that was well over due! From the left: Uncle Dane and Aunt Coleen with Dylan and Drew. Then, Uncle Courtney, Aunt Lauren, Papa (hiding), Nana, Mommy, me and Daddy. Uncle Courtney's girlfriend (Ooh La La!) came to the party too! She was holding the camera.

We played lots of games and ate like royalty! I didn't take a nap all day because I had so much fun! At the end of the night, Papa held me before they left and bounced me to sleep while I was sitting straight up! Mommy has it on video! It's pretty funny and embarassing! I didn't drool though!

Below are pictures of me at my second cousin, Kaylie's 2nd Birthday. I had so much fun with her! We explored her mommy's cabinets and found a bunch of pot holders. Then we went to Kaylie's room and played in her enormous toy box. I think it could fit a whole horse in there! Kaylie also had some really cool Dora the Explorer slippers that I so desperately wanted! She wouldn't give them up, but she did give me some very cute piggy slippers!

In the first picture I am wearing my great grandpa, Poopsie's cool hat. I had to give it back though. I guess it's tough when you ONLY have a hat to cover your head!

Below are more pictures of me. Only this time I am taking these pictures to send into a high fashioned modeling agency in Hollywood. They said you have to be 5' 8"... So, we'll see what happens!

Uncle Courtney and Aunt Lauren came over for a whole weekend this month! I love it when they visit! Aunt Lauren played so much with me and that rotten cat, Buttercup that I think she wore herself out... and that is hard to do!!! While I played, Mommy and Uncle Courtney baked cookies, biscotti and cooked up some Mulligatawny soup for Great Grandma Marty. Even after Mommy put me to bed one night, I could still hear them in the kitchen baking up some mischief.

Finally! Christmas came and Santa brought me a whole bunch of gifts! So many that I didn't want to open any more! Mommy and Daddy were so excited about this Christmas because I would be able to open gifts. But, I just didn't have it in me! All I wanted to do was sleep!
I did get some cool stuff though! I now own a Dora the Explorer cell phone, a really cool Mickey Mouse sweater that Great Grandma Barbara had someone make for me, real wooden blocks, dollies, a cool electronic pull phone, clothes, snacks, a suit case and a lot more. I'm going to have to go thru all my toys again and revisit my new ones!

Christmas Day we went to celebrate with Great Grandma Ray and her huge family. Below are pictures of little Eric, Lila, their mommy, Kara, and me playing. We had so much fun! I think my favorite toy was cousin Macy's Dora bike! (not pictured) She really didn't want me to ride it yet because she just got it for Christmas. I didn't mean to make her cry! Also, pictured is Daddy and Me, Stacie with little Eric and Daniel and then me with Great Grandma Ray. Isn't she something?!?!

Below, some of you may be asking yourselves "Who is that guy?" I know... Daddy thought the same thing when "That Guy" was born! This happens to be my Uncle Darin. Remember last month I said that he was flying Blackhawks overseas??? Well, I guess one bit him or something because he decided he didn't want to be there anymore and he came home. I'm sure glad he did because he sure is cool to hang out with! The second and third pictures are of us at Buffalo's Restaurant in Aurora, IN. (Mommy put my pacifier in my hair and I forgot all about it... so did she until she saw the picture again!) Daddy gave me a lemon and then a lime! That's what my faces are about! I kept eating them though!

Oh, just a few updates about me... I now have 14 teeth and a great smile! Mommy and Daddy are teaching me sign language. These are the signs I know: Please, Eat, Milk, Thank You and Bath. The sign for "Daddy" is funny! It fits him perfectly though because he cracks me up all the time! Also, I really like to dance, play hide and seek the duckie, and "meow" whenever I see a cat. (I think it gets on Mommy's and Daddy's nerves!) Oh, and Aunt Coleen, Uncle Dane, Dylan and Drew sent me a really Big Kitty in the mail! I don't know how it fit, but I'm glad it did!

Well, it's that time again when I nodd off to sleep! (Dry your tears! I'll be back in less than a month! I really mean that since I was "sooo on time" with December's blog page!) I'm not sure if I traded up or not because Daddy normally puts me to sleep on the couch. If I don't wake up for a few hours then I'll know that my Big Kitty is a keeper! Hope you'll smell me later!
