Hello, again! This August has been so HOT! I've tried to play at a few play grounds in the mornings, but it was so hot, and Mommy and I were the only ones there. I guess everyone else has playgrounds in their houses... or something!
So far, my favorite play things at parks are the slides and the steps to get to them. Mommy holds my hands so I can walk up them like a grown-up.
Aside from playing at parks, I've gone to Taylor's pad and relaxed in her jacuzzi tub while playing with a few toys. It's nice to do that. Taylor knows how to operate all the controls to make it just right... even when our mommies aren't looking!
Okay, it only happened one time! Mommy and Lisa were 5 feet away and set us down to play with a toy. They turned their backs for a couple seconds and... well, Mommy heard the water running and freaked out! Taylor was in the tub with the water on... I was only going to climb in to make sure she was okay... I promise. In order to get into the tub you have to climb a few steps. I was only on the top one looking in... Maybe if Taylor wasn't so cool I wouldn't want to do everything she does. Anyway...
What do I do during the day? Well, I'll tell you... besides picking my nose (I'm not kidding... Mommy really doesn't like it! But, hey... why else is it there?), I like to play with my toys, read books, pester Buttercup (she likes it, though), let Mommy chase me around the house, maybe run some errands, eat, sleep, change my bottom, watch a little t.v., dance to "Jack's Big Music Show," let Mommy read to me, play with Daddy when he comes home, and then go to bed.
I've been learning some new noises. Like what a duck sounds like... "Kack Kack Kack." That is my new favorite thing to say. I try to "meow" with my mouth closed. I like to sing a lot. I mock Mommy when were in the car and she is singing. I scrunch up my face and sniff in and out like a bunny rabbit. And, Mommy taught me something from "Finding Nemo." It goes like this: I give her a high 5 when she says" Fin," then touch our foreheads together when she says "Noggin," and then she says "Dude." I don't say "dude" yet. But, it is fun to do.

I've been hanging out in the backyard a lot in the evenings when it is shaded. It's fun because I get to run around in the grass, play with it and sneak a few bites when Mommy looks away. Sometimes I pick up a stick and bite down hard on it. Hey, it's good when you're my age and cutting teeth!
The pictures below are when the grass was actually fun to play in. Now it is so dry that it doesn't even grow. Daddy hasn't had to cut the grass the majority of August, which is good since it is so hot!

I know what you are thinking... I'm the instigator... but the truth is... it was our mommies this time! They just had to take pictures!
And, just where did you think we were going in such a hurry??? That's right... the famous crib of Taylor Staab. You may have seen her crib on the hit MTV show "Cribs." That's because it is the best place for a dance party! And, believe me... we had a rockin' time!!!
Goodness!!! Ever since I went to Taylor's crib, the paparazzi just won't leave me alone! These pictures were taken just down the street from our house. all I wanted was a nice walk by myself with no cameras with flashing things in my face. At least I got out of the house and was able to walk the entire road by myself! Well, almost by myself.Once Mommy and I decided the coast was clear and no weird people with cameras were outside our crib, we decided to wear our disguises and head to Lunken Airport for a nice get away. Well, not the "get away" your thinking... we just wanted something to do.

When we first arrived, there was a small airplane sitting in front of us waiting for clearance to take off... Mommy said, "Look, Madilyn, there is an airplane!" Instead of looking at the airplane right in front of us, I looked up to the sky. She thought it was funny because I've never seen an airplane on the ground before.

Here is a pretty puppy dog who gave me kisses and let me pet him! Bonus: he brought kids with him to the playground too! Someone else brought a little boy who was my age. He was pretty cute! (wink* wink*)Below are pictures of me with Mommy, Grandpa and Grandma Scudder at the Riverfront in Rising Sun.
It's that time again... I think I'll face the camera one last time before I head off to bed. She doesn't get... I'm hiding behind my car for a reason!!! Ughh... it's no wonder I'm tired! Thanks for hanging out with me! I hope you'll smell me later!
